Chan Tui the Cicada bug flew into some smokey wind
heat and got and itchy rash with blindness,
all because she smelled fried liver wind inside.
She should have been more careful and considered that fact that flying inside

- Dispel Wind Heat (wind-heat or early stage of warm
febrile diseases causing fever, headache; especially for loss of voice,
sore throat and hoarseness)
- Vents rashes; relieves itching (early stage measles
with incomplete expression of rash; wind-rash; skin itch)
- Clears eyes; removes superficial visual obstruction
(eye problems due to wind-heat: red, swollen, painful eyes; blurry vision;
pterygium)
- Extinguishes internal wind; relieves spasms (internal
LV wind, tetanus, spasms, convulsions; night terrors)

Special Notes:
- Combine with Ju Hua to treat red eyes
- Tetanus: according to one report, 8 patients with tetanus were treated with Chan Tui with success. Adults were given 45-60g of Chan Tui powder with 90-120 mL of grain based liquor and antibiotic therapy for 7 to 17 days.
